Location
Along the meandering panoramic road which reveals wonderful horizons and views, past the grandeur of Cala Grande, we come to the scenario of Cala Moresca facing the little island of Argentarola lying in a paradisiacal crystalline sea, and where the tower of the same name acts as a division between the Cala del Gesso and the Parco dell'Argentarola. On the horizon is the island of Giglio with its incredible sunsets. This is an area that is part of the Cetacean Sanctuary established in 1991 as a protected natural marine area of international interest. The scent of the sea, the play of waves followed by dolphins, the majestic flights of gulls, flamingos, cormorants, coots, herons and so much green tranquillity: this is the world of the Costa d'Argento with the lagoon of Orbetello and the promontory of Argentario in the Grosseto Maremma.
